The next logical step, Android devices, if in fact the ’smartphones’ in Japan playing Farm Village are not Android yet.

Mafia Wars–which enables gamers to build an underworld empire by completing criminal missions and recruiting social networking contacts to join their mob family–currently boasts about 21 million active monthly users across the Facebook platform; speaking this week at Paris tech conference Le Web, Zynga senior vice president of mobile David Ko said the firm will make Android a priority in the months ahead, with additional titles coming soon to the platform.
